
Introductory Course Program
The Introductory Course at Fred Astaire Dance Studio is designed to introduce you to the joys of Social Dancing. This course introduces you to the Fred Astaire method of teaching, allowing you to sample the different dances offered, and helps you to decide which dances you would like to pursue. For your convenience, Fred Astaire Dance Studio offers this course for singles or couples.
Variety Program: This program is designed to introduce you to a variety of different dances and ways of learning them. It is the recommended program for people who wish to dance in all social situations.
3 - 25 minute private lessons
1 - 50 minute practice party
1 - 40 minute group class
Private Lesson Schedule: 2pm - 9pm Monday - Friday
Saturday (Teacher’s option)
Group Classes for All Students: Supplemental to private lessons.
A variety of different classes are held each month.
Mondays - 7:15pm our Newcomers Class, perfect for those just starting out
8:00pm is Bronze Class for advanced students
Tuesdays - 7:15 is Fundamentals Class for more style, flair, and technique
8:00 is our fantastic Practice Party to enjoy dancing in a social setting
Wednesdays - 6:30pm our Minor Dances Class for Shag, Salsa, West Coast Swing, etc.
7:15 - International Class teaches the styles popular in Europe
Thursday - 7:15 is the most important class of the week. Our FREE Guest Party.
Bring anyone interested in dancing, see a professional floor show,
and earn FREE LESSONS!!!
Fridays - 7:15pm our Stretch Class is a 40 minute relaxation class rooted in ballet and yoga
8:00pm is Zumba Class which incorporates cardio and Latin dance into fun routines
We also have seasonal classes so check with us for details.
Practice Parties for All Students: Held Tuesdays at 8pm.
Dances available: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Shag, Salsa, Swing, Bolero, Merengue, Mambo, Samba, Viennese Waltz, West Coast Swing, and Country Western
